NH-VT Covered Bridge Half Marathon

The NH-VT Covered Bridge Half Marathon, taking place near Colebrook NH, offers three exciting options for participation: an Individual Half Marathon, a 2-Person Half Marathon Relay, and a 4-Person Half Marathon Relay race.

Our USTAF Certified Half Marathon course (NH18001JK) is a beautiful, mostly flat, paved looped course that starts and finishes at Coos Brewing Company in Colebrook NH, located in northern NH and bordering Vermont. The half marathon begins in Colebrook, quickly crossing into Vermont as the first 6.3 miles follow VT Rt 102 South along the scenic Connecticut River until it crosses back into NH via the Columbia Covered Bridge. Once back in Colebrook NH, the course continues along RT 3 North for 5.7 miles until it enters the Town of Colebrook, where runners will complete the last 1.1 miles to the start location. Additionally, this course is perfect for those interested in participating in a relay race.

4 Person Relay legs include:

• Leg 1 is 3.1 miles and starts in NH and quickly goes into Vt along Rt 102 South, It has a slight (.2) hill within the first 1/2 mile of this leg
• Leg 2 is 4.0 miles  all in VT along Rt. 102 South
• Leg 3 is 3 miles and crosses through the  Columbia Covered Bridge into NH and it includes the "biggest" hill, which is about .3 mi at about mile 8.2 and is all on Rt 3 North
• Leg 4 is 3.0 miles also on Rt 3 North until mile 12 when it goes into the small town of Colebrook until it crosses the Finish Line,
  

 The  2 person Relay legs  match the 4 Person Legs:

• Leg 1  is 7.1 miles
• Leg 2 is   6.0 miles

Note:

• All 3 running events ( individual, 2 Person and  4 Person Relay Teams) start and Finish in the same location
• Runners and spectators will need their own transportation to/from the Relay Exchange points

• On-line registration ends Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2 PM. 
• On-site  registration will be availabe at  Start/Finish Line Friday, September 25 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Race morning from  7:00 AM- 7:45 AM

This year's half-marathon and relay race starts and finishes at the Coos Brewery in Colebrook NH. There's food, fun, and festivities for all participants. The awards ceremony is at 11:15 AM.
